With the looming festive season, Gauteng Opera will perform a dinner concert at Ristorante La Trinita in Kyalami, featuring the much loved Christmas Carols.

With tickets already sold out, patrons will be treated to the young and wonderful voices of Gauteng Opera’s soloists, while enjoying La Trinita’s top quality Italian cuisine. La Trinita offers an unsurpassed menu of simple, everyday Italian dishes that reflect the most traditional elements of food and culinary style.

Merging the specialities of three cities, Bologna, Napoli and Perugia, at its finest, La Trinita does not follow fashion or trends; they are about serving incredible food, with a formula for QUALITY. They recently made it into a list of “101 Best Places to Eat in the World”, voted by 53 luminary chefs in a global survey conducted by Newsweek, amongst other eateries in locations such as Monaco and Australia.

Performing at this fine concert are Gauteng Opera soloists, Phenye Modiane (tenor), Annemarie Steenkamp (mezzo-soprano) and Kagiso Boroko (tenor) accompanied by Gauteng Opera Academy’s 3rd year trainees, Dorah Kganakga (soprano) and Martin Mkhize (baritone).

This dinner will be Gauteng Opera’s final performance of the year before work starts on our first fully-staged Opera, Cosi Fan Tutte, in the beginning of 2014.
